The main goal of this event is to provide SMEs with solutions on how to overcome market entry barriers in photonics. Pre-arranged business to business meetings are organised, in order to stimulate and strengthen collaborations along the value chain, with end users and integrators, by fostering collaboration between different stakeholders, at regional, national and European levels.
A panel of international experts will present different topics: ethical issues in research projects concerning food and environment; current and future trends in investments in innovations; intellectual properties issues; sharing the genetic resources; the importance of photonics and technology in AgriFood; how to prepare a good presentation to the investors. In a dynamic session the attendees will be able to directly ask experts for a potential solution to their problems.
Project Coordinators will highlight the importance of public funding in supporting innovative SMEs. The event will be organised with an aligned and fruitful collaboration with Tuscany Region, the leader of the precision farming S3 platform.
Day one of the event will be held in Florence, while day two will be hosted by the Regional Experimental Farm located in Alberese (Grosseto).
